Around the Micro Credit Activities Run by BPW Patan
Dadagaun VDC Lalitpur
Center no 61
Twenty members are in the centre no 61 conduction of monthly centre meeting by Ms Pramila Shakya along with the centre chief Mrs. Purnima and Mrs. Urmila Shrestha, President of BPW Patan.
Mrs. Sabita KC took loan of Rs 15000. 00 for her goat raising business. She sells goat milks door to door in the morning. She uses of her most recent loans to purchase baby goats for her business.
Mrs. Bhagabati Basnet is engaged in cow and buffalo raising business. At present she has 8 cows and buffalos. She sells milk to the dairy industry every morning. She also produces bio gas for cooking in her own house.
Mrs. Ananta Kumari Kc does poultry farming business. One thousand chickens are now ready for sale. She is so lucky that her customer comes to her farm house to buy all her chickens at homr. Mrs. K.C also does organic vegetable farming. She is the one of the borrower of BPW patan since two years.
Boharatar VDC, Lalitpur
Center no 60
Mrs. Krishna Acharya of Boharatar is a very good organic vegetable farmer. She has a big land for Asparagus vegetable farming. Asparagus is very expensive vegetable in Kathmandu Valley. She supplies those vegetables in the restaurant and hotels in Lalitpur areas.
